“You understood what I’ve just said to you ?”

“Yes. Lung cancer. Inoperable.” 

This scene rings so true to me. I mean I’ve never had anyone telling my I had some sort of terminal disease but I remember clearly the moment my mother phoned to tell me one of my cousin had died. It was like the time just fell apart somehow and I was so totally transfigured by this paper at the foot of the bin in front of me. I’m pretty sure it’s what makes Breaking Bad such a top notch show : in the middle of this quite unbelievable story, everything feels oddly real.
